A perfect response to a government who takes too much interest in Women's reproduction

I found this on Yahoo today:

DUBLIN (Reuters) - Irish women are tweeting details of their periods to Prime Minister Enda Kenny to help publicise a campaign to repeal restrictive abortion laws.

"Since we know how much the Irish state cares about our reproductive parts... I think it's only fair that the women of Ireland let our leader @EndaKennyTD know the full details of our menstrual cycle," comedian Grainne Maguire said in a tweet this week that kicked off a Twitter campaign that has gone viral.

Dozens of other women joined in, tweeting details of their menstrual cycle, with some criticising Kenny for not responding.

I think this would be a great thing for American women to start doing as well. Tweet to your congresscritters all about your cramps that would be so much better if you could afford birth control. Fill their email inboxes with the latest report about the price of pads and tampons. Send them your pap smear results.

If they are so interested in our reproductive cycles, let's tell them!
